During your initial dental examination with our North York, ON dentist, Dr. Shiewitz and her team will inspect the health of your teeth, gums, and your jaw. This examination will be followed by a series of X-rays designed to give Dr. Shiewitz a complete look at the underlying structures of your jaw and teeth. For patients returning to Dr. Sara Shiewitz Dentistry for re-care visits, X-rays will not be necessary unless prescribed by the doctor.

The final portion of your general dentistry visit to Dr. Sara Shiewitz Dentistry will be a thorough cleaning of your teeth and gums. A member of our hygiene team will gently yet thoroughly clean your teeth, finishing the procedure with a polish designed remove surface stain and to highlight your healthy smile.
